Trees in Autumn at 8th and Maine

A new post is coming soon, an interview with the author of an impressive new anthology of Anglican theology and spirituality.  But in the meantime, here is a haiku I wrote a few years ago; it seems appropriate, as the weather here in the Midwest is starting to get cooler once again.

Trees in Autumn at 8th and Maine

Their leaves turn orange
And red yellow beautiful,
Fall fragile to earth,
But, like me, remain.
