About Me
Hello. My name for the purposes of this blog is Alypius, as I consider myself to be a “friend” of St. Augustine, whose work is largely responsible for inspiring this blog, much as the historical Alypius followed him in pursuit of holiness. My hope is, by a much humbler pursuit of things eternal, to do the same. In my “real life” however I am a graduate student at a university in the midwest, studying history and hoping to soon finish my Ph.D., and this blog is my way of meditating out loud on subjects other than my chosen field (though sometimes that will come into the picture as well) but which interest me.

Hi, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your website in Ie, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
